AI Open Innovation Challenge 2026

The Challenge

Participants are tasked with identifying a pressing issue within their chosen category and developing an AI-driven solution. The project would demonstrate scalable and impactful outcomes aligned with a real-world social impact areas.

The AI Open Innovation Challenge 2026 is designed as a national platform for collaboration between academia, industry, and professionals to address business challenges using an AI approach. The event will take place from February to August 2026 in Jakarta and at the President University Campus in Cikarang, covering stages ranging from proposal collection to showcase and awarding. This challenge brings together innovative ideas with real industry needs through the application of AI that can generate models, prototypes, and business analytics solutions. The purpose of this activity is to build strategic collaboration among stakeholders and encourage AI-based innovation that has a direct impact on efficiency, productivity, and sustainability in various industrial sectors in Indonesia.

Eligibility Criteria

Form a team of up to 3 - 5 members to participate in this journey

SMA/SMU/SMK

  • Student with 15 - 18 years old from SMA/SMK.
  • Team consist of 3 - 5 members.
  • Mixed grade within 10 - 12 allowed.

University & Public

  • 19–28 years old.
  • Team consist of 3 - 5 members.
  • Cross major welcome.
